Well it should be no surprise that Nicole Richie was spotted leaving her Studio City gym this morning! She certainly has become quite the workout fiend lately.

I love it though – I love that she’s taking that time for herself. There have been a few baby bump rumors lately as a result of a loose fitting shirt Nicole Richie wore to the gym last week, but she seems to be looking pretty svelte in these pictures.

I’m jealous that she can look so beautiful even on her way out of the gym! Love the sunglasses and leather jacket!

Who doesn’t love Sheryl Crow? The singer sat down with ‘Prevention‘ magazine and opened up about her new boyfriend, being in a long term relationship and ditching the LA scene.

Here’s your sneak peek:

On her new guy (Sheryl has been dating a producer for several months) and how he is with the kids:

“Really good. I’ve been in the situation where I’ve been involved with people and their kids, and if the relationship doesn’t work out, it’s heartbreak. So I’m keeping the relationship friend-based when we’re around the kids.”

On a long term relationship—say celebrating 50 years together

“I’d love that. But I’m pretty set in my ways, and whoever I’m going to end up with, God willing, will have gone through their things too. So I’m not looking at having a fifty-five-year relationship. I’ll be happy if I have a ten-year relationship.”

Conscious choice to ditch the celebrity swirl of Los Angeles and move to 154-acre farm outside of Nashville:

“I love LA,” she say candidly. “I am so happy to see my friends there, but after four or five days, I’m like, ‘Let’s go home.’ Nashville feels more reality-based. I feel centered here. There’s a connection between me and nature.”

“I’m strict. I think one thing that is missing now with kids is the hierarchy of adults not being friends, even though ultimately that’s what you want with your kids. They have to understand that somebody’s in charge and sometimes the answer is no. It’s about being consistent.”

On what getting cancer taught her:

“Anyone who’s diagnosed with anything will agree that such news is not only a showstopper but also an opportunity to recreate the way you live and how you look at life. It was for me.”

On her age (49):

“Age is such an indefinable experience. I look at my grandmother when she was my age—she had boobs down to her waist and looked like an old lady. At sixty-five, my mom is a fun, cool, and beautiful as ever. I think it’s just a state of mind.”

Pia Toscano Lands Record Deal 24 Hours After Being Booted Off 'American Idol'

Well, it's certainly been a roller coaster of a week for Pia Toscano! The American Idol contestant went from being a frontrunner on the show to getting booted off Thursday, and then Friday she landed a record deal!

The singer, who had never been in the bottom 3 before being forced out of the competition, will release an album under an Interscope Records imprint, reports Us magazine. Apparently Idol mentor Jimmy Iovine is the chair of the imprint.

"Pia is being signed to a deal with Interscope Records who are rushing her into the studio to record an album ASAP," a source said. "Starting [Thursday] night after the show, Interscope told her they wanted her and first thing [Friday] morning Interscope brass started calling every top songwriter and producer in town to get an album together and rush release it."

Toscano was seen smiling around LA on Friday and was photographed arriving at a record studio, so now it's all making sense! The insider added about her upcoming contract: "Papers are being finalized. It's basically a done deal. She's signing. They rushed everything but she's so excited."

The 22-year-old singer was pretty shocked to be kicked off the show, but said she was excited for her future -- without mentioning the record deal, of course.

"You don't know for sure why things happen, but you know, it did!" she said Friday. "It was my time to go on the show and I'm excited to see what my future holds."
